Create stunning 3D packaging mockups

Wrap your artwork around a real, production-ready dieline and see exactly how your box will look. Design the inside and outside, choose realistic substrates, then export cinematic 4K video and 3D files — all right in your browser, with nothing to install.

What you mock up is exactly what gets die-cut — every mockup is built on a real, production-ready dieline.

Everything you can do

A full 3D studio for your packaging

From the first sketch to a finished product video — design it, dress it, render it and ship it, all in one place.

Design the inside and the outside — separately

Flip between the Outside and Inside of your box and design each surface on its own. Put your artwork and brand colors on the exterior, then open the box up and decorate the interior too — so it looks just as finished inside as it does outside.

Upload your images, or use stock images

Drop in your own designs and watch them wrap onto the 3D model instantly. Upload PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF or WEBP files, reuse anything from your personal image library, or search the built-in stock images. Already have a dieline with artwork on it? Upload that too and it lands perfectly in place.

Choose realistic substrates

Pick the material your packaging is actually made of — kraft, corrugated, embossed and coated papers, hard cardboard and more. Every substrate carries true-to-life roughness, sheen and texture, and you can even apply different materials to different parts of the box, then switch on a ground plane and set the background color to stage your shot.

Export cinematic 4K video

Turn your mockup into a scroll-stopping product video. Render in crisp 1080p or 4K Ultra HD (3840 × 2160), choose a 5, 10 or 15-second clip, and pick a cinematic camera move — Review Orbit, Hero Reveal, Cinematic Helix, Simple Turntable, Push-In and more. It renders right in your browser and downloads as an MP4.

Export OBJ, GLB and more

Take your 3D model anywhere. Export a textured GLB — geometry, PBR materials and your artwork all baked in — ready to drop straight into Blender, or an OBJ to re-skin in Adobe Dimension. Need a still instead? Grab a snapshot image. Your design, your tools.

Share a clean, unbranded link

Every design gets its own hosted link you can send to clients. They open it and spin the mockup right in their browser — on a clean page that carries no Die Cut Templates branding. And you can switch sharing off again whenever you want.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install any software?
No. The entire 3D editor runs in your web browser. Designing, video rendering and 3D file export all happen on your device — there is nothing to download or install.
Can I upload my own artwork?
Yes. You can upload PNG, JPG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, WEBP and JFIF files and watch them wrap onto the 3D model instantly. You can also reuse anything from your personal image library or search the built-in stock images.
Can I design the inside of the box too?
Yes. Switch between the Outside and Inside tabs to design each surface of the box independently — your interior artwork shows exactly how the box looks when it is opened.
What can I export?
Cinematic MP4 video in up to 4K Ultra HD (3840 by 2160), 3D models as a textured GLB or a geometry-only OBJ, and snapshot still images.
Is the 3D mockup editor free?
You can try the 3D editor for free on our demo template. A subscription unlocks the full library of dielines — see our pricing page for what is included.
